JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. The role involves executing a project focussed on housing and basic services in a resettlement colony. 
  2. Areas of work include improving habitat, enabling access to basic services and livelihood.
  3. Developing innovative ways of working with communities, conceptualizing campaigns, involvement in networks and advocacy .
  4. Field work, documentation, monitoring  of the project.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Knowledge of housing and habitat related issues
  2. 2 years of prior experience of working with communities and with an organisation is desirable. 
  3. Sincere, hardworking, team worker with a commitment to work within human rights frameworks. 
  4. Should be comfortable working independently and interacting with different stakeholders.
  5. Should be well acquainted with research processes. 
  6. Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Marathi/Hindi are essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Establish youth collectives within colleges and communities across Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • Provide comprehensive life skills and leadership training to empower young individuals.
  • Conduct capacity building workshops and advocacy sessions in both communities and college campuses.
  • Mobilize youth towards job readiness through training initiatives and job fairs.
  • Facilitate the establishment and development of social enterprises in collaboration with youths.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of all activities and outcomes.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Prior experience of working with communities & youths on issues of livelihood/education/empowerment with an organization is desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Mobilise and develop youth across the area.
  • Form district level youth collectives and forums.
  • Organise meetings, workshops and capacity building programs.
  • Implement ASK program components district wide.
  • Host job connection initiatives and advocacy programs.
  • Establish flagship programs promoting gender equality, social justice and peace.
  • Solicit local contributions to enrich youth initiatives.
  • Facilitate leadership development for youth leaders at district and state level.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) or a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from a recognized university.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supporting YUVA’s fundraising strategy building and implementation plan
  • Supporting all aspects of YUVA’s fundraising cycle, including but not limited to:
  • Donor prospecting and research
  • Grant writing
  • Relevant fundraising collateral
  • Donor database management
  • Donor required documentation
  • Relationship building with existing and new donors and philanthropic communities
  • Staying abreast with the latest developments in the fundraising landscape, and adapting these learnings within YUVA’s context.
  • Supporting YUVA’s communications team to strengthen the organisation’s fundraising potential.
  • Using knowledge of emerging media trends to leverage media to enhance fundraising.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4-5 years’ experience in fundraising within the development sector
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in Hindi and Marathi preferred; the candidate should be able to share complex ideas clearly, accurately, and concisely
  • Excellent creative thinking, problem solving and teamwork skills; this role requires the candidate to build trust internally and externally to further YUVA’s fundraising objectives
  • Experience in media relations
  • Basic knowledge of design software preferred (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign etc.)
