YUVA Centre

The YUVA Training Centre was set up in 2001 as a space to facilitate collective learning both within and outside the organisation. At a close proximity to the city of Mumbai, it offers an open, quiet space with facilities ideal for meetings, trainings and workshops.

The YUVA Centre is well equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and residential facilities. It is open to NGOs, CBOs and other groups that seek to utilise the space for their own training and residential programmes.


Facilities and Services

The YUVA Training Centre offers NGOs, CBOs, Government Organizations and Corporates the necessary facilities and services for seminars, conferences, meetings, and capacity building activities.

A brief description of the facilities at the YUVA Training Centre is given below:


Seminar Halls (A.C.)

There are 2 seminar halls, both ideal for workshops and seminars. Learning Together Hall has the capacity to accommodate 35 to 60 people Working Together Hall has the capacity to accommodate 20 to 30 people.

Multipurpose Halls

There are three multipurpose halls that can accommodate 150 people. They are suitable for exhibitions and other social functions.

There is also an Outdoor Plaza for performing arts, cultural expressions, and group activities.

Guest Rooms

There are 13 double and 2 triple air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms and intercom telephone services.


There is a dormitory with a 25-bed capacity for shared accommodation.

Dining Room

YUVA’s cafeteria service is run by Matrutva Seva Sahakari Sanstha,
an SHG that was catalysed by the YUVA programme.
This women’s collective serves a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian
dishes to suit the all tastes.

Terms and Conditions

For booking and related queries write to us at yuvacentre@yuvaindia.org or contact the Centre Administrator at +91(22) 2774 0970/80/90. Your booking request is governed by the conditions below. There is no contract between the centre and the client until the centre has received the initial booking deposit (50% of programme cost). If the client fails to deposit the advance within the specified time, the centre reserves the right to cancel the booking. The full payment must be received in accordance with the procedure laid down under payment terms. If the Client has not paid the balance amount within the specified time, the Centre reserves the right to take legal action on Client. Cancellation Policy: In

In Cancellation Policy: In a case of cancellation, we must be informed in writing. If the intimation of cancellation comes less than 45 days before the date of booking, cancellation charges will be applied. In a case of cancellation 48 hours prior to the booking, there will be no refund.

Getting at YUVA Centre

The YUVA Centre is designed to provide a safe, secure and comfortable getaway in a quiet part of India’s largest metro, Mumbai. The YUVA Centre can be reached by

The nearest airports are the Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport (37 km.) and Domestic Airport (34 km.) of Mumbai. To reach the YUVA Centre at Kharghar, one can hire a taxi or proceed by the local train or bus service.

Local Train:
The YUVA Centre located approximately 2 km. from Kharghar Suburban Station. One can reach Kharghar via the Harbour Railway Line. From the Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (V.T.) in South Mumbai or Andheri in North Mumbai you will have to board a Panvel-bound train. From Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, you need to walk to the Tilak Nagar Railway Station where you can board the Panvel-bound trains. From Kharghar Station, you can take an auto-rickshaw (Rs. 25) and ask for YUVA Centre. Alternatively, it is a 15-minute walk.

Bus Travel: 
The Hiranandani Complex (Crystal Plaza / Three Star Hotel) bus stop in Kharghar is the closest to the YUVA Centre. All Dadar-Panvel buses operated by the State Transport (ST) Corporation start from Dadar (E) ST Stand and halt at Hiranandani bus stop en route to Panvel

The local NMMT buses travelling from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai stop here as well. The non-AC bus C 53 (express) and AC buses 103, 123 and 125 ply this route.

Road Travel:
The YUVA Centre can be reached by the road just off the Mumbai-Pune Highway.
