We are happy to inform you that we have completed two batches of Diploma in Youth Leadership & Social Change course in collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and now are launching a new batch for the year 2018-19.
The course covers various topics including youth identity, working with youth, facilitating social change and so on. It is a part-time course in Hindi and English, duration for 8 months with 6 exciting modules (120 hours) with 240 hours of fieldwork.
The course also includes 240 hours of core field work in related areas. It is taught by faculties from TISS as well as others from the civil society space. The application process has already begun and the last date for the submission of form is 30th April, 2018. The course commences from June, 2018.

About the Course:
Objectives and Learner Outcomes Overall Objective:: To provide certified training to youth workers, in order to promotethe understanding and practice of social change through self empowerment and development of leadership qualities..
1.Provide knowledge about youth issues and challenges, thereby contextualize these issues and challenges in contemporary India.
2.Develop analytical skills so that learners may begin the process of critically reflecting upon the institutions/policies/cultural beliefs that influence youth and their lives in the process of participating in social change.
3.Build leadership capacities of learners to empower youth to identify their rights and responsibilities and facilitate their participation in social, political and cultural issues affecting them.
4.Equip the trainees with a range of practice skills required when intervening on issues of social change and development.
